The diagnosis and treatment of diseases, tumors and defects involving the bone and soft tissues of the mouth, jaws and facial structures, require multidisciplinary specialty.
 
In addition to all regular dentistry services, the teams deal with the following fields:

Dent-alveolar surgery:

 Surgical and simple teeth extractions
 Apicectomies
 Surgical exposure of un-erupted teeth
 Soft and hard tissue biopsies
 Treatment of jaw cysts
 Dental implants and bone regeneration for restoring missing teeth in the jawbones

Orthognatic Surgery:


Surgical correction of congenital, developmental and posttraumatic skeletal deformities of the oral and maxillofacial region.

Craniofacial Surgery:


Management of patients with congenital defects e.g. hare-lip and cleft palates.
 
Benign and Malignant Tumors of the Jaws and Related Structures:

Diagnosis, treatment, reconstruction and follow-up.
 
Trauma Surgery:

Management of traumatic injuries to the soft and hard structures of the facial tissues.

Oral and Facial Rehabilitation:

 Restoration of hard and soft tissue deficiencies of the oral cavity and facial structures by means of prosthetic devices e.g. artificial nose, ear, eye, etc. 
 Construction of dentures and obturators after soft tissues or bony elements compromised in tumor surgery or Trauma.
