Pediatric Rehabilitation

These highly professional units, with many years of experience, are either an integral part of the rehabilitation centers in Israel, or are separate specialized facilities, which are recognized worldwide for their professionalism and skills. The units accept youth and children (ages 3-18) after road accidents, falls, terrorist attacks, sickness, and operations, all requiring behavior evaluation and rehabilitation.

Neuropediatric – including child development, combining a diagnostic and therapeutic rehabilitation oriented framework for children between the ages 0 to 18 years. Children with varied developmental problems e.g. gross motor, fine motor, communication and language, and congenital or acquired neurological deficits – all benefit this service.
Neuro-pediatric specialists treat from the simpler benign hypotonia, to the more complex cases of permanent disability as in CP (cerebral palsy) and Spina Bifida, as well as other developmental deficits. Early diagnosis and personally adapted appropriate treatment increase the chances of a speedy recovery.

Post Traumatic – this ambulatory unit is a unique in its kind Israeli service. It functions as a multidisciplinary clinic, that specializes in neuropsychological evaluation, treatment and follow-up of children and adolescents after brain injury caused mainly by car accidents or play-ground mishaps.
